Woody Allen plans to quit film after the launch of his upcoming film, Wasp 22

the director revealed in an interview with Spanish publication La Vanguardia. "My idea, in principle, is not to make more movies and focus on writing,"

Allen explained the next film he is working on is likely to be an  novel. Allen earlier told Alec Baldwin in a frightening Instagram live chat in which he said that "the thrill is gone" from filming.

"When I would make films, it would be screened in an movie house across the nation. Today, you film and you're given a couple of weeks in an cinema house" Allen told Baldwin.
