The most iconic Russian artist Alla Pugacheva, hugely popular since Soviet times, now says she would like to be included on the Russian list of foreign agents.

The comment made posted by Pugacheva in her Instagram on Sunday was an obscene slap from a prominent figure within the Russian authorities who have shut down opposition in the last few times.

She called Galkin a “true and incorruptible patriot” who wishes for “the end of deaths of our guys for illusory goals.”

Russian law permits organizations as well as individuals who are engaged in political activities that receive foreign funding to be classified as foreign agents.
